Dorris Ranch

The history of Dorris Ranch began in 1892 when George Dorris and his wife Lulu bought 250 acres along the Willamette River and dedicated their lives to farming. Now, more than 100 years later, Dorris Ranch continues to make history as a fully productive commercial filbert orchard and Oregon's first living history farm.

Over 75 acres of meticulously maintained orchards, 75 acres of lush riverfront forest, several original structures, and 40 acres of pasture and wetlands provide the setting for one of Oregon's most unique educational resources. Walking tours, special events, and preservation projects enable visitors to experience early Oregon history first hand.
