Eagle Creek is located in Clackamas County, southeast of Portland, between Sandy and Estacada along Hwy 224 on the banks of the Clackamas River. This community is named after the nearby stream of the same name.

Situated nearby to the south of Eagle Creek, is the Bonnie Lure State Park. There is also an Eagle Creek, British Columbia.

Eagle Creek is part of the Portland-Vancouver, Oregon-WA metro area.
