Fish Lake is situated between McLoughlin and Brown Mtn. in the high Cascades, in Jackson County, in the Rogue River National Forest. The lake is used as an irrigation reservoir, and also provides abundant recreational opportunities, such as boating, canoeing, fishing (rainbow trout and eastern brook trout), and camping. The 483 acre lake averages 18 feet deep, and the deepest part of the lake is 31 feet deep. Fish Lake is located approximately 32 miles east of Medford on Hwy-140.
