Grande Ronde Symphony Orchestra |
The orchestra, currently in its 49th season, is a college/community orchestra sponsored by the Grande Ronde Symphony Association in conjunction with Eastern Oregon University. Community members of the orchestra come from Union, Wallowa, and Baker counties, while college student members have come from all over the world.
Our director is Eastern music faculty member, Dr. Peter Wordelman. Rehearsals are Wednedsay evenings from 7:00 to 9:30 in Room 126, Mary Jane Loso Hall, on the EOU campus. Concerts are held in the same building at 7:30 pm. The concert dates for the 1996-97 season are November 6, February 12, April 9, and May 28.
