Highway 101

Comments: Having traveled Highway 101 as far as it goes we can say that is is absolutely one of the the most beautiful drives you can take. We took our honeymoon along Highway 101 in Oregon and have traveled it to and fro many other times. A couple places that we can suggest are : State Park, OR ( Beautiful places mostly. Many with great beaches at or nearby them and we have found that all of the Oregon State Campgrounds and parks we have been to haev been nice and clean.) Also Crescent City, Ca (A very quaint little town with a local lighthouse and nice beaches. Absolutely amazing sunsets too!)

Comments: My wife and I made reservations at the see-vue motel on hwy 101 and was not pleased at all, $85 a night for a smelly room with no ventilation and the hot water lasted through 1of us the first night and no hot water the next. old and muggy rooms, not a good exsperience at all. when we questioned the hot water issue we were informed that we would have to wait until they "owners" talked about it and would let us know by mail or phone. Well we received a letter from them a very nasty one at that and the end result was we got nothing back, an apology would have been nice. Please do not stay at the See-vue motel, there are much nicer motels for less money close by.
