Ione is located in
Morrow County southwest of
Pendleton, between
Lexington and Morgan along Hwy 74.
Nestled along Willow Creek, this community hosts an auction and barbeque in June, a 4th of July celebration and several school and church events. Ione is surrounded by rolling wheat fields. The historic Oregon Trail passes near Ione at Wells Spring.
