Lebanon is located in Linn County southeast of Albany, between Corvallis and Sweet Home along Hwy 34 and the banks of the Santiam River.During the pioneer days of the 1800's, Lebanon was a stopping off place on the Cascade Wagon Road. Nearby country roads lead to 11 covered Bridges and beautiful picnic sites within a 45-minute drive. The town is an agricultural center and celebrates with the annual Lebanon Strawberry Festival - June. Activities can vary from attending Cascades Performing Arts recitals, to visiting the indoor shooting range downtown. Lebanon also serves a Senior Center, the Boys and Girls Club, a Historic Resources Commission, and a number of community organizations. Historic homes and buildings can be found within the city.
