Five surrounding communities merged in 1964 to form Lincoln City. These former cities were Oceanlake, Delake, Taft and the communities of Cutler City and Nelscott. Lincoln City offers visitors 7 miles of public beach, Devils Lake State Park, as well as boating & Fishing (plentiful in the surrounding area). Built in 1914, Drift Creek covered bridge is one of the oldest bridges in Oregon. Lincoln City is supported by thriving tourism-related activities.
