Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center, located in the Portland suburb of Gresham, provides full-service hospital care to east Multnomah and north Clackamas counties.

The hospital has 59 available inpatient beds. Services include inpatient, outpatient, emergency care, radiation oncology, cardiac rehabilitation and health education, plus childbirth and pregnancy in our Family Birth Center. Recent construction has more than doubled the area of the diagnostic imaging area. Several leading edge technologies have been added, including a more open and faster MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) for peering into the heart and other organs or "moving" parts of the body; an R2 ImageChecker for digitizing and double-checking mammograms, a second ultrasound machine for creating three-dimensional images and the Portland area's first General Electric CT (computed tomography) scanner.
