The Newport Performing Arts Center is 23,000 square feet on a 4.5 acre site. Inside you will find a main auditorium, lobby, administrative offices, a studio theatre/rehearsal room, actors' lounge area, dressing rooms, costume shop, scene shop, mechanical rooms, storage rooms and a detached 2,650 foot storage building. The parking lot can hold up to 132 cars including 5 handicapped accessible spaces.
The orchestra and balcony sections have 303 seats and the four galleries have capacity to extend seating up to 10 chairs. Standing room only capacity is just over 390. The Studio Theatre will seat between 70 to 100.
Visit the Newport Visual Arts Center which schedules monthly exhibits featuring regional and local artist. The Visual Arts Center is located in historic Nye Beach and is open Tuesday - Sunday, including many holidays.
