Student housing is available for 450. OIT is the only accredited institute of technology in the Pacific Northwest. Its primary mission is to serve Oregon through quality traditional four-year bachelor's degree programs of instruction, public service, and applied research in areas of engineering, business and health technologies and nursing at the main campus. Established in 1947, OIT attracts students from throughout the Northwest and many foreign countries, particularly in the Pacific Rim.
