This small area of old houses in SW Portland has been cut off from Downtown Portland by Interstate 405. Once rather seedy, it has been discovered and gentrified in recent years. There is no hill; the area is named for someone whose name was "Lair Hill." There is a small park, near which is the Portland Children’s Museum .
