The "Peter Iredale" was an oceangoing ship that was wrecked near the mouth of the <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/c/columrvr.htm">Columbia River</a> in the early part of the century. The wreck can still be seen at low tide. Access is available from <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/f/ftstevsp.htm">Fort Stevens State Park</a>.<P>  <P>
