Roosevelt Middle School has a long history of innovation and excellence in education, wide parental, community support, and involvement. With the help of parents and staff, students choose classes that best meet their individual needs to become lifelong learners. Each student and his or her parents work regularly with an advisor all three years. It is also known for a strong fine arts program such as band and choir. Each has more than 200 students and more than 75 take orchestra. Each year an annual musical is presented to the community as a combined effort of drama, music, art, shop, and home economics staff.
