Sacandaga Campground is located along Road #21, 26 miles southeast of
Oakridge, past
Hills Creek Lake on the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. From Oakridge, follow
Highway 58 east for 2 miles to Kitson Springs Road. Continue on Kitson Springs Road for 0.5 miles to FS Road 21. Proceed on FS Road 21 for 24 miles to the Sacandaga Campground. Elevation: 2400 feet. Use of this camp is low.
SEASON: July- October > day use and overnight - 14 day limit.
Facilities include: Toilets, 17 Tent / RV Sites, (Max Length: 24 ft.), Potable Water, Fire Rings, Pedistal Grills. Major Outdoor Activities include: Fishing, camping, hunting, hiking and bicycling.
The Willamette River is accessible by two trails from the campground. There is also a short trail leading to a viewpoint with a bench for a short break. Campers can enjoy solitude as the use is very low and the campsites are well separated by vegetation. The Middle Fork Trail is in close proximity.
