The Salem Art Association (SAA) is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to art education, art appreciation, art education and historic preservation of the greater Salem area.
In 1919 a group of dedicated community leaders formed the Salem Art League. The League incorporated in 1938 as the Salem Art Center Association and in 1948 the name changed to the Salem Art Association (SAA).
SAA moved to its present location in 1953 the Bush's Pasture Park and today its called the Bush House Museum, the Bush Barn Art Center is in the adjacent barn.
