The 1 mile Scott Mountain Trail is within the
Three Sisters Wilderness, and offers outstanding views of the
Cascade Mountains. To get there, from
McKenzie River Ranger District, drive east on
Highway 126 about 2 miles to the junction of Highway 242, (Scenci Byway). Travel about 17 miles on Highway 242 to Scott Trailhead to Forest Service Road No. 2649.
Scott Trail is located within the Three Sisters Wilderness. The trail intersects a moderately forested area and passes over lava flows and alpine meadows. This trail accesses the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.
The difficulty of this trail is Moderate to Difficult. There is no water on the trail.
