Wallowa Lake State Park is located along the shore of a
Wallowa Lake in the heart of the scenic
Wallowa Mountains, known as the Switzerland of America, with mountains rising 9,000 feet. The camping area provides 89 tent campsites, 121 trailer spaces with utility hookups, 1 cabin, 2 yurts, and 3 group tent camping areas.
Mountain climbing, nature study, fishing, and boating are popular activities. The area is accessible from the park by trails leading up the Wallowa River from the south picnic area.
