Dedicated to the preservation of antique farm machinery and related items, the grounds are just west of
Interstate 5 north of
Salem. Take Exit 263 and go a half mile west. Located on the north side of Brooklake Road. Located here are
Oregon Electric Railway Museum and
Pacific Northwest Truck Museum.
Included are activities related to blacksmithing, fire apparatus, electric railroads, miniature railroading, Caterpillar equipment, antique cars and motorcycles, early day trucks, large steam engines, steam operated cranes, model railroading and local history.
The museum operates antique machinery and vehicles that accurately replicate function and use. Through the equipment, Powerland displays and demonstrates life and work in the period of Oregon’s early growth and development. Frequently the restored equipment is that which was used in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
