Gilham Elementary School offers a warm, nurturing atmosphere of acceptance and friendliness. It provides an enthusiastic and progressive environment which encourages success. It provides creative and varied experiences which enrich each child and allow intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development in a variety of learning settings. Instruction is provided in whole-class settings with limited regrouping in some academic areas. The Learning Center provides small-group instruction to those students with special academic needs. The Literacy Lab provides coached reading for approximately 192 students.
