Yaquina Bay Bridge’s dramatic, soaring steel arch makes this one of the most photographed of McCullough’s bridges. It is high enough for most boats to pass under and has a combination of both steel and concrete arches. At each end of the bridge is a pedestrian plaza with stairways leading to observation areas. Completed in 1936, the bridge marked its 75th anniversary in 2011.
