Allegheny College

Founded in 1815, it is one of the oldest colleges west of the Allegheny Mountains. The college has a number of buildings constructed in the early 19th century, including Bentley Hall, a fine example of Federal architecture. Pelletier Library contains a notable collection of Lincoln memorabilia.

Allegany College, (MD)

A Regional Campus of Allegany College. Modern and attractive. Well-equipped and well-maintained. These are the characteristics of Allegany College of Maryland and its two branch campuses in Pennsylvania.

Throughout its three-campus system, Allegany College of Maryland strives to maintain high-standard facilities in support of high-quality academic offerings and high achievement and success by its students.

Begun in fall 1990, is located adjacent to Everett Area High School in a new classroom and administrative building that opened in spring 1995.

Among its features:

  • A 15-station computer lab.
  • An interactive distance learning lab.
  • Library computerization
  • In addition, the structure contains seven classrooms, student lounge, bookstore, student support services and faculty and administrative offices.
