Features 13 permanent galleries as well as changing exhibits. A research library focuses on the history of Swedes in America from the establishment of the New Sweden Colony in 1638 to modern accomplishments in technology, architecture, and fine and decorative arts. Traditional Swedish holidays are celebrated year-round. Open Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm, Sunday noon-4pm; closed legal holidays. Under 12 admitted free with adult. Located in Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park.
