Located across from the Cathedral of Learning, this is a cultural complex in the heart of the university area. The Carnegie Performing Arts program sponsors the Music with the Masters series, Jazz Happy Hour and summer concerts in the Sculpture Court. The Carnegie Music Hall, a 2,000-seat auditorium, is home to the Y Music Society, River City Brass Band, Mendelssohn Choir, Opera Theater of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society.
