Quaker Anthony Morris' Georgian manor house was completed in 1801. Comprising 44 of its original 200 acres, the estate also includes a two-story octagonal springhouse, an ice house and a three-level stone barn. A 2-acre walled garden with statuary, reflecting pools and a Gothic Revival cottage all exemplify 19th- and 20th-century landscape architecture. Guides conduct tours of the house. Open Monday-Friday 9am-4pm; closed holidays. Grounds open daily 9am-4pm; grounds admission is free to the public. Reservations are recommended.
