This village, which consists of over 90 historic buildings from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, was significant as a religious, social and market center for the surrounding community, as well as a stop-over point for stagecoach travelers. William Penn, while in residence at nearby Pennsbury Manor, attended religious services in
Fallsington. Six historic buildings have been preserved. Historic Fallsington, Inc. also maintains a collection of furniture, tools, utensils and textiles which refle ct village life, a manuscript collection which documents local history, and a library containing books relating to American, Pennsylvanian and local history, historic preservation and material culture.
