The Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts has been providing the "best possible arts to the greatest number of people" through art exhibits, classes, collections, concerts, festivals, and other cultural programming since 1965. Located in the neighboring mansions of Alex Crawford Hoyt and May Emma Hoyt, the former homes now house art galleries, studios, classrooms, a fine arts library, and period rooms in a magnificent nostalgic setting on nearly five acres of New Castle's residential North Hill. Popular programs include the Bi Annual Jazz Festival and Art Auction, Annual Children's Summer Art Camp, free Children's Summer Arts Festival, and free school programs. Act 48 Continuing Education Hours are available. Membership is available. You need not be a member to participate.
