Though it is a completely new establishment, and there is no direct connection between the Crawford Grill on the Square and the historic Crawford Grill in the Hill District, the aura, the feel, the flavor, the raw energy and excitement that once reverberated from "The Grill" exists here today. The 180-seat nightclub and restaurant offers good music and good soul food. Specialties include such dishes as Gus Greenlee's Steak Salad, Fried Green Tomatoes, Jazz Wings, and Croquette Patties.
