The Lehigh River carves through the park in a steep-walled canyon. It is one of the most scenic rivers in America and features whitewater boating. This section of the river is Class II-III. Visitors who like adventure will also love hiking or mountain biking on more than 25 miles of abandoned railroad grade that follows the river.
White Haven is the northern access area and can be reached off of Exit 273 of Interstate 80.
