The shaded picnic area is popular for picnicking and hiking, and the lake is a fishing hot spot. The Susquehannock Trail system crosses the western edge of the park. This trail covers some rugged terrain and is a favorite of backpackers.
Lyman Run offers two separate camping areas with a total of 35 RV and tent campsites. Each site contains a picnic table, fire ring and lantern hanger. Twenty-nine campsites have electricity.
Lyman Run State Park is 15 miles east of Coudersport and 7 miles west of Galeton in Potter County.
