Meadowcroft Museum of Rural Life, a site of the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania, preserves the history of life on the land in Western Pennsylvania over the past 14,000 years. The 200 acre outdoor museum includes one of the oldest archaeological sites in North America and a recreated nineteenth century village.
