Dedicated in 1769 and is the oldest Methodist church continuously used for worship. In 1784 St George's licensed the first African-American Methodist preacher in the United States. The adjoining Methodist Historical Center contains church relics. For guide service ring the bell on New Street. Open daily 10am-3pm; closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Free to the public.
