City Map with Features
The descendant of a prohibition era speakeasy, now a third generation family business. The peanuts were introduced in 1935, with Jimmie insisting his customers toss the cracked shells on the floor. We still encourage people to discard the peanut shells on the floor just the same as my grandfather requested back in 1935. While our food, drinks and attitude toward alcoholic consumption have remained current with today's needs, we are still the informal, friendly, roaring twenties tavern/restaurant that both my grandparents and parents always ran.
