Ardgowan National Historic Site

Located at the Corner of Mount Edward Rd. and Palmers Lane, Ardgowan was the home of Willian Henry Pope, one of the Fathers of Confederation. Was the scene of a grand reception for delegates to the 1864 Charlottetown Confederation. Ardgowan houses the provincial office of Parks Canada. Experience the serenity of the restored Victorian grounds. Grounds open year round.
