Located on Rte. 6 at Cavendish, the gardens lane, homestead fields, and old trees surround this hallowed ground where Montgomery was raised by her grandparents, Alexander and Lucy Macnill and was her home from 1876 to 1911. This is where she wroter `Anne of Green Gables`. This serene and beautiful site captures the essence of the Cavendish she knew and loved. Open June to mid-Oct.
