The small mountain town of Adjuntas rests in a valley accessed by Route 10, Route 123 and the Ruta Panoramica (Route 518). Adjuntas is easily reached from Ponce and is a good stopping point if you are taking the entire Ruta Panoramica. The Guilarte Forest, just to the southwest of the town, features a hiking trail to the 1,204m Guilarte Peak.
