Bayamon Puerto Rico |
Founded in 1509 by a group of settlers led by Ponce de Leon, Bayamon is located south of Catano. Residents are referred to as vaqueros or `cowboys`. Bayamon has maintained its regional customs and cuisine in comparison to the larger well known cities of Puerto Rico.
