Clint Eastwood's 1986 film, Heartbreak Ridge was filmed here, using the windswept porch as their second home. Located on the south shore, east of the U.S. Naval Reservation, the hotel has eight clean, comfortable and restored units. Every room has a ceiling fan, with half of the rooms with air conditioning as well. The local bar and restaurant is very popular and known to be lively into the wee hours of night.
