Built from 1839-41 by a Georgia-based firm, this Gothic residence marked the beginning of a series of picturesque cottage homes (which are only found in
Newport), and thus is one of the least conspicuous of the Newport "cottages."
Made of wood with towers and gables and arches, it features a cork ceiling. Period furniture, paintings, rugs and procelain.
