This museum is housed in the restored 1762 Brick Market building. Decorative arts, artifacts, graphics and audiovisual programs and hundreds of historic photographs depict the city's story. Among exhibits are the model ships, paintings, Colonial silver, a rifle from the Battle of Lexington and the printing press Ben Franklin's brother brought from England. Open Monday, Wednesday through Saturday 10am - 5pm. Sunday 1pm - 5pm. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving and December 25.
