Museum of Yachting |
Founded in 1980 in Fort Adams State Park, the museum is dedicated to yachting traditions and heritage. The Museum has a 10,000 square foot collection of yachts, artifacts and exhibits which interpret the sport and its history. The Museum is located at Fort Adams State Park, overlooking beautiful Newport Harbor. Exhibits include America's Cup Gallery, The Great J-Boats, Singlehanded Sailors Hall of Fame, and the American Sailboat Hall of Fame. Open daily 10am - 5pm, mid-May thru Oct.
