Anderson County Museum |
The Anderson County Museum includes exhibits on local history and memorabilia from the area. The museum's mission is "to collect, care for, exhibit, interpret and demonstrate items that will serve to illustrate the history of Anderson county and will preserve its heritage."
The museum is accessible to persons using wheelchairs. Accommodations for persons with other disabilities may be requested in advance. Admission to the museum is free. The museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or at any other time by appointment. Special events and programs as well as guided tours are scheduled throughout the year for adult and student groups.
