Bob Jones University Museum & Gallery |
The Bob Jones University Museum and Gallery houses one of the most important collections of religious art in America. The Gallery consists of 30 galleries displaying European sacred art from the 13th through the 19th centuries and includes important works of many major artists such as Rembrandt, Tintoretto, Titian, Veronese, Sebastiano del Poimbo, Cranach, Gerard David, Murillo, Ribera, Rubens, Van Dyck, Honthorst, and Dore.
In addition, the gallery contains the Bowen Collection of Antiquities, as well as a collection of Russian icons, European furniture, and a collection of vestments made for the Imperial Chapel in Vienna.
To make reservations for tours, contact the Events Coordinator.
The museum and galley is open Tuesday through Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
