Set in the live oak woods along the Edisto River, Colleton State Park has unspoiled salt-water marsh on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other and 3 miles of beach in between. Cabins, campsites and picnic facilities. Open 9am-4pm. The Edisto Canoe Trail passes through it and covers 66 miles of the world's longest free flowing "blackwater" stream - the Edisto River. A exquisite glimpse of rare wildlife.
