Greenwood

Greenwood is located in Greenwood County, of which it is the county seat. The City of Greenwood is located in the heart of the County. Greenwood is situated south of Greenville between Abbeville and Newberry along Highway 72 near Lake Greenwood.

Incorporated in 1857, Greenwood is one of the larger cities in the South Carolina Piedmont. Visitors to the area will notice old and new architecture. Uptown Greenwood offers something for everyone. Unique shops are situated throughout the Uptown area. Restaurants located in Uptown Greenwood offer a delightful array of options for both visitors and residents of the area.
