Irma Morris Museum of Fine Art

A short half-hour drive from Clemson, in the city of Pickens, is the Hagood-Mauldin House and Irma Morris Museum of Fine Arts. Built in 1828 and moved to its present location in 1868, it features 17th and 18th century art and furnishings.

The Hagood-Mauldin House, built circa 1828 in the original Pickens County seat west of the Keowee River, was dismantled and moved here when the town was moved in 1868. The museum is open Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 until 5pm, April through early December.
