Sumter and Lake City along Highway 301. Olanta is a small town southwest of
Florence.
Olanta is part of the Florence, South Carolina metro area.
The Town of Olanta is in the southwestern corner of Florence County. It is linked with Florence and Manning by United States Highway 301 and with Lake City and Johnsonville by South Carolina Highway 341. Olanta is very near Woods Bay State Park which features a Carolina Bay complete with alligators!
