Ripley's Aquarium features a 330-foot moving glidepath that moves visitors along the ocean floor through a long tunnel. Rio Amazon re-creates the primeval world of the amazon rain forest, where lush vegetation and more than 2,000 species of fish thrive. Nature's art is on display in the Living Gallery. Pacific giant octopus, sea dragons, and other unusual marine life are displayed at Ripley's Aquarium. Fish dart and create waves of color in the rainbow rock. Thousands of fish from Vigii, Hawaii, and other pacific locations are on displayed at Ripley's Aquarium.
The aquarium's mission is to provide a "top quality, world-class marine life facility that will foster environmental education, conservation, and research, while simultaneously providing entertainment for visitors of all ages."
Ripley's Aquarium is open 365 days per year. The center is open Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
