Woodburn Plantation, a four-story mansion built by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, circa 1828. The Pendleton District Agricultural Museum, adjacent to Woodburn Plantation, has exhibitions of pre-1925 farm machinery and tools. Woodburn is located just across the county border. The plantation is a remarkable home that represents the glory that was the Old South. It is an example of an early 19th century plantation house. The four story house includes high ceilings, cross ventilation, and wide columned piazzas upstairs and down, back and front.
