Fort Thompson

Fort Thompson is located in Buffalo County southeast of Pierre between Miller and Chamberlain along Hwy 47 on the banks of the Missouri River near the Big Bend Dam and Lake Sharpe. In Great Lakes Region it is situated within the Crow Indian Reservation.
